BuildDx

Turn your expertise into something people can try, and prove you’re the answer before they buy.

The easiest way to show someone you’re good at this is to let them feel it. A quick assessment, a grader, a calculator. Something free and low pressure that gives a person a real answer about their own situation. It shows what you do instead of describing it, and it hands you a lead who already gets why you’re worth talking to. You don’t even need to know what to build. Tell me your business and your goals, and I’ll figure out the right tool, build it, and test it.

Talk through your build

What it does for you

  • It shows instead of tells. You prove what you know by answering someone's exact situation, without ever having to talk to them. That lands harder than anything you could say about yourself.
  • Your leads show up warm. Everyone who finishes tells you what they need, so you're following up with context instead of a name and an email address.
  • It catches people who aren't ready to talk yet. Someone who'd never book a call will run a quick tool. Now they're a lead instead of a visitor who left.
  • It makes you the expert. You gave someone something useful before you asked for anything, and that changes how they see you.

You don’t need to know what to build

You don’t need a tool idea. Bring your business and what you want more of, and I work out what to build: what it asks, what it tells people, and what makes someone want to run it in the first place. Then I build it and test it until the answers hold up. You don’t touch code, logic, or quiz design.

The proof it works

You don’t have to imagine this. My tools are live on my site, go run one.

And they do the job. Off a few LinkedIn posts, my tools have brought in more than 700 emails. Some run as lead magnets that just capture interest, and some I’ve started to monetize directly. That’s the whole promise of BuildDx, a version of it pointed at your business.

  • The marketing graders. Paste a landing page or a marketing email and get a letter grade plus the one real problem to fix. Free, and you get the answer before I ask you for anything.
  • The LinkedIn findability check (JobSearchDX). It scores how easily recruiters can find you for the jobs you actually want. It's the first tool I ever charged for.
  • The ROI tool. It puts a real dollar figure on what a weak page is costing you, so the problem stops being a hunch.
  • The profile tool. Not just a LinkedIn profile check. It's for fractionals who want to be seen as a real fractional, not a job seeker.
  • StakeholderDx. The fun one. A Mad Lib generator that fires back a comeback at whatever a stakeholder just told you, and still quietly captures emails while people play.

Yours gets built the same way, pointed at your business and your customer instead of mine. If anything, with more care, because it’s yours.

What I hand you

  • The finished tool, tested for accuracy and ready to put on your site.
  • The code, yours to keep and host anywhere. No lock-in to me.
  • Lead capture wired in, so every run becomes a contact with context attached.
  • A handoff doc, so you or your developer can run it without me.

Optional, if you want them: I can set up your CRM so leads land where your team already works and manage it for you, keep hosting and maintaining the tool after handoff, and help you get people using it.

How it works

Scope call
Your business, your offer, and what a good lead actually looks like for you.
I design the tool
I work out what to build, what it asks, and what it tells people, from your goals and your expertise.
Two directions
I bring you concepts to react to, so you're steering before I build anything.
Build and test
I build it and run it against real cases, so the answers hold up when a stranger uses it.
Handoff
You get the finished tool, the code, and everything you need to run it on your own.

What it costs

A full build, from idea through execution, starts at $2,500. It can run higher depending on how in-depth and complex the logic and testing get.

If you want me to keep hosting, maintaining, or managing the tool after handoff, or driving traffic to it, those can be add-ons we can talk through.

Right now I can only take on a build or two at a time.

Request a scope

Tell me what your business does and what you’re trying to grow. I’ll tell you what I’d build.
