The diagnostic tools (LandingPageDx, EmailDx, DirectMailDx)
What gets captured
When you submit your email to see a full report, JulieDx stores your email address, which tool you ran, the date, and a run counter. That’s it. The data lives in an Airtable base I (Julie) own and look at.
When you subscribe
If you create an account or start a subscription, JulieDx stores your account email (via Clerk, the login provider) and a Stripe customer reference to manage billing and your access. Your run history stays a simple counter.
What does NOT get captured
The content you submit - email copy, landing page URLs, direct mail files, screenshots - plus the diagnostic responses and your follow-up questions, are processed by Anthropic’s API and never stored by JulieDx. I don’t log them, save them, or look at them.
Third parties that see your input
Your inputs are sent to Anthropic (the company that makes Claude, the AI model behind the tool) to generate the diagnostic. Their privacy policy is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
When you submit a URL for LandingPageDx, the URL is sent to Jina.ai (a free page-reader service) to extract page text. Their privacy policy is at jina.ai/legal.
Cookies and local storage
JulieDx uses browser localStorage to track your free runs and remember your email so you don’t have to type it again. It also briefly keeps your most recent report in your own browser, so you don’t lose it if you leave to subscribe and come back; that copy lives only on your device and is never sent to JulieDx. If you sign in or subscribe, the login provider (Clerk) sets a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party ad trackers, no Meta Pixel.
Third parties for accounts and billing
If you create an account or subscribe: Clerk handles login and stores your account identity. Their privacy policy is at clerk.com/legal/privacy. Stripeprocesses your payment; I don’t see or store your card details. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Email and the mailing list
Email delivery is handled by Loops. You join the JulieDx email list when you sign up through the newsletter box, meaning the popup or the form under an article. If you ask me to email you the JobSearchDx link on mobile, I add you to a short email sequence about that tool. If you give your email just to see a free report, I store it to run that report and may email you about the tools now and then. I send occasional emails about the tools and what I’m learning from running them, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works. Loops’ privacy policy is at loops.so/privacy.

What gets captured
Every run is logged, free or paid, signed in or not. For each run I keep the score and grade, how many job descriptions you pasted, and what the audit found: which sections of your profile it flagged, and the terms it required for those jobs and found missing. If you filled in a target role or seniority on the form, those are kept too. A random id your browser holds links your own repeat runs together so I can see whether people improve; it isn’t tied to your name or account. Your email is attached to a run only when you’re signed in. Anonymous runs have no email and can’t be traced back to you.
What does NOT get captured
Your profile text and your job description text are processed to generate your results and never stored by JulieDx. The written fixes in your report aren’t stored either. What’s kept is the audit’s shorthand, not your words.
How the stored data is used
I use it to see how findable people are against the jobs they want, to improve the tool, and to publish what I’m learning, always as totals and percentages across many runs, never anything that could identify a person. The data lives in an Airtable base I own. It’s never sold or shared with third parties.

Your data, your call
Email julie@juliedx.com and I’ll delete your data. No questions, no forms. You can also ask me what I have on you and ask me to correct it. What I keep is small: your email, which tool you ran, a run counter, your grade and score, the address of any landing page you ran, for JobSearchDx what the audit found on each run (sections flagged, terms missing) plus a random browser id, and for the paid tools a billing reference. I keep it while your account or access is active, and you can ask me to delete it any time. I don’t store your content, sell it, or train on it, and I don’t sell or share your personal information with anyone except the processors named on this page that need it to run the tools. Analytics
JulieDx uses PostHog to understand how the tools are used in aggregate (page views, run counts, conversion) and, for some visits, to record a replay of the session: where you clicked and scrolled and what was on the page, with anything you type masked. A report you view can appear in a replay. Replays are kept for 30 days and I use them to find what’s broken or confusing. Microsoft Clarity does similar session analysis (scroll depth, click patterns, inputs masked). Vercel Web Analytics gives basic, privacy-friendly traffic counts. No ad targeting. No third-party data sharing.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes - new feature, new third party - I’ll update this page and bump the date at the top.
