JulieDx
A marketing diagnostic

Does your page say what you do clearly enough that a stranger gets it?

“I have clicks, not conversions, and I can’t tell why.” Usually the fix is the first 40 words. JulieDx tells you what’s wrong before you spend another dollar.

JulieDx grades whether your page, email, or asset is clear, says the right thing, and asks for the click the right way. It names the real problem and ranks the fixes. Under two minutes. Free.

What it grades

A real report card. Five things, every time.

Every landing page, email, or asset runs the same rubric. Not a vibe, not a fresh opinion. The same five dimensions, scored the same way, every time.

Strategy & positioningDoes it know who it's for, and take a real position?
Copy & messagingAre the claims specific, and does the CTA say what you get?
Persuasion & proofIs the proof real, and matched to the reader?
Trust & credibilityAre the claims proportionate, and the authority named?
UX & layoutCan a stranger get what you do, and what to do, fast?

It judges the message: clarity, copy, CTA, and offer fit. It won’t promise you conversions or fix your targeting, and it’ll tell you when the problem isn’t the copy.

Sharp page. One soft hero.
Julie’s Take

This page knows exactly what it is and proves it by diagnosing itself, which is a rare and strong move. The hero takes a beat to name the audience, and the strongest proof is buried at the bottom.

Priority Fix List
01Your hero talks about the tool. Talk to her first.

The Fix: Lead with the reader’s headspace before you name the product. Open with the moment she’s in, then introduce what JulieDx does.

Why This Is Costing You: Your reader is already mid-problem when she lands, and product-first copy talks past her.

02Nobody can see who built this until the very bottom.
03Your CTA says ‘pick.’ It should say what she gets.

Your Result

A letter grade, a one-liner verdict, and a ranked fix list.

Stop sending things into the dark. Not someone’s opinion. Not an SEO score. A named strategist’s call on what’s actually holding it back, so you know exactly what to fix before the budget drops.

A rubric isn’t just structure. It’s the difference between a real diagnosis and a guess dressed up in bullet points.

Built with JulieDx

This page was diagnosed with my own tools.

I spent 15 years fixing these exact problems at Macy’s, CVS, Elevance Health, and GoodRx. Then I built the tool I needed. I ran it on this page before you ever saw it. Here’s what it caught.

Opening Label

The hero leads with the product, not the reader's headspace. Product-first copy talks past the person who's already in the middle of the problem.

Start with the emotion. “You’ve got a draft. Not sure it’s ready.” meets them where they already are.

Cold Traffic Gap

No credential anchor. Warm traffic shares, and the next person who lands has no LinkedIn context and no reason to trust the diagnosis.

One sentence near the top closes the gap without a bio section. It just needs to exist.

Fold Transition

The light section at the fold reads like the bottom of the page. Readers leave before they reach the proof.

A color shift signals that the page continues. The eye keeps moving.

I used the same diagnostics to build three audience-specific versions of this page. You’re on the SMB version.

Why not just ask Claude?

Because a rubric isn’t a fresh opinion.

A blank chat box
A fresh opinion every time
You have to know what to ask
An answer that evaporates
JulieDx
The same rubric every time
One senior standard, already built
A verdict you can forward

The rubric is Julie Irving’s, built over 15 years in marketing. You get a verdict you can forward, not an answer that evaporates.

After They Run It

Umm.. this diagnostic tool is scary good!

Far more structure, clarity, and actionable insights than I could have articulated on my own.

I just used this on 2 different sites and one PDP page. Blown away.

Before You Go

Your first run is free, just give an email. No card needed for that one.

I’m Julie Irving, 15 years in marketing and 5 years in advertising sales before that, across retail, e-commerce, healthcare, health insurance, and health tech, marketing to consumers and businesses both. I’ve spent a long time being the person trying to figure out why something wasn’t working, with no good tool to help me do it fast. So I built one. LinkedIn

Yes. You get a letter grade, the one biggest problem in plain English, and a short list of what to fix first. No jargon, no 50-point report to wade through. If a line doesn't make sense, that's on me, not you.

Subscribe from any tool and the run cap lifts right away. Running client work at volume, or want a custom setup? Email me at julie@juliedx.com.

I don't store it, sell it, or train on it. You paste it in, you get a diagnosis, it's gone.

Unlimited runs are $19.99 a month, with a 3-day free trial. Cancel before your trial ends and you're not charged. The founding rate of $19.99 stays locked as long as you keep it.

Emails, landing pages, and direct mail pieces. PositioningDx is coming. If there's something else you want diagnosed, tell me. That's exactly the kind of feedback that shapes what gets built next.
